Yellow Fog light Glass
Where can I get the Yellow glass fog light insert for a 1993 ls400. I pulled mine out to change my bulbs and it was cracked! I think this is why I keep blowing bulbs on that side. How much for One or a pair of these? Should I look for used ones? JunkYard?

Thats the thing..I like the yellow look. I think it looks classy. I just keep going through bulbs every 2 weeks, and its getting expensive and time consuming. Now if I break the glass wont that defeat the purpose of having the casing to begin with. I thought the casing protected the bulb from the elements.

Nope, the casing does not protect the bulb from the elements... it's the foglight housing assembly that does the job. Same thing with headlights... the headlight halogens bulbs dont have a sleeve surrounding them.
I've also broken the yellow glass and will be putting in some new Xtreme white bulbs for the fogs in a couple days. Picture pending...
BTW, if you like that yellow color, you can still break the other sleeve and just get some PIAA high performance yellow bulbs instead. From basic physics, having light pass thru any kind of object (in this case the yellow sleeve), will decrease light output. Why not break the sleeve and get some yellow bulbs so your fogs will be brighter yet keeping the color? here's a link http://www.hitechimportlighting.com/piaa.htm
