Looking to purchase my first LS
hi ,every one .I m new to this Club .and I m looking to purchase a 1996-1998 Lexus LS400
I would most likely prefer the 1997-1998 over the 1996 because of the side airbags, but finding a good one in my price range is not easy ,no more then 8000 dollars .
I did find one at a dealer but not sure how to read the VIN
JT8BH28FXW0125830
And most important the dealer did not have any service records
The car has now 153k
Any thoughts?or pointers
PS if you hear of a nice LS for sale...in California please contact me
I love those cars
Thank you all.

remove the VIN please before you get in trouble for trying to score free carfaxes.
you can't read a vin to get engine/chassis details.
also, the 98-00 are VERY VERY different from the 95-97. please search.
