Default NO aftermarket sway bars for my car?

Short and sweet, I have been trying relentlessly to find larger sway bars for my 98' but it seems there only made for 97 and older.... WHY???????????????????????

because 98-00 already have a slightly thicker bar in the rear...

supposedly anyways.

you'd be better off replacing your bushings with some polyurethane ones.

Oh yeah? Cool cool, I just kinda wanted to AMG'ize my Lex and was told buy my good friend and AMG owner that in the handling department, aside from springs that's what they did.

Pure is right - check out Energy Suspension urethane replacements....they come with grease ports. I bought mine at Autozone.

I've just tried searching Energy Suspensions website and others and can't find these bushings you guys are talking about. Could someone point me in the right direction?

http://www.energysuspension.com/

Although you probably found the above website, you only need to measure OD of sway bar(s). From there you can order their universal poly bushings as I did. Unfortunately they do not make a set for our car.

Since you have a 98 and mine is a 95, our sizes are different - perhaps the front is the same Pure will know this for sure.

One thing though, when you get the poly upgrades, you "may" have to make minor modifications to the mounting bracket(s) as I did. The mods were minor (a bend or cut) to make them fit.
