91 pionneer radio what is the 2nd
Any know what the second cable is that plugs in rear next to antenna cable? it plugs in at rear of radio and I noticed it was not connect at the antenna end, there but not connected. It is the thinner of the two. Could that be why I do not get better reception ie: no AM reception nor lower end FM?

well according to a Pioneer technitian (Of course Lexus dealer people would not help! too old a car) the two cables going into rear of radio are: the thick normal antenna wire is for FM and the thinner one next to it is for AM. Remember I have a 91 LS400 if the year makes a difference! I am switching to a indash CD FM AM NAV radio! to heck with OEM!
