whats the difference between 91-94 and 95-00 megans coilover? i heard there all compatible? what would be better to buy for good results...

the megan coils were designed on the 1LS (90-94) and were marketed for the 2LS (95-00).

Well they WILL fit on the 90-94. But they were test fitted on the 2LS. You just have to adjust the rears a little more then the front. I had them on my 1LS and they worked but IMO they were a little too stiff, but they are a decent coilover. I currently am running D2 coilovers on my 2LS and I like em better then the megans. But both are decent if you just need the stance. I'm gonna run air, but my car couldn't sit at 4x4 status so I just got the d2s'.

think you have that backwards. One of our CL members was the test fit car when Megan developed them and they were test fitted and engineered for the first gen. Unfortunately by the time they got around to marketing and selling them the second gen was already out so they marketed towards that.

actually Megan did it because they knew that if they made coilovers for the 1st gen they could market to both 1st and 2nd gen owners, whereas if they prototyped on 2nd gen they would be limited only to 2nd gen.

no idea why they label it as a 2nd gen only product, if you call they'll tell you that it's the same model for all year LS400s.
