I envisaged this while bored at work this week and threw a quick pic together to see how it could potentially work. This is only a sketch so please feel free to criticize in any way
Obviously either the exhaust or intake pipework (or both) would need heatwrapping, and perhaps a better path for the intake pipe if there's anywhere for it.
I also had the idea to modify the sheetmetal in the trunk to give the turbo some protection from road debris and add fore and aft vents to provide both airflow for the turbo intake and venting for the heat it'll produce.
Oil supply is via a pump with a line taken from the oil pressure sender I believe, so it's just a case of plumbing that and securing lines to the underside of the car.
Doesn't look too hard does it

There was a kit made by C's or commrades in Japan that was bolt on for the celsior.
They went out of business 3 or 4 years ago.
The problem with a remote mount on an LS is it has barely any extra room to provide a return pipe from the turbo through the center tunnel never mind you have to increase the exhaust piping for a FI system.

C's Japan had a bolt on Supercharger kit among their product line (incl. a front lip I would KILL to get)
remote mount turbo has been done before on the 1uz, only ONCE that i know of, although it may have been an SC400. It was done by a member who doesnt post on these boards too often but should be recognizable to most of the OG members as Emerald.
