Default power steering not working?

k i'm having a problem with power steering. I had found a leak on the high pressure hose, so I replaced with the one on my parts car. Well now i bled it and everything but still is hard what am i doing wrong????

the way i did it:

step 1. take high pressure hose off pump and rack
step 2. put new line on
step 3. take return hose off of pump bracket, and bleed until no bubbles
step 4. connect hose to pump bracket and turn wheel back and forth

i'm lost or is my pump just no good????

Step 2 should have been to remove the solenoid (on the rack) and clean the screen. A clogged solenoid screen is most likely what cause the leak in the first place. After reading up on it, I did it on my 90 and turning became much easier. I still need to do it on my 95 as a preventive measure.

Do that before going any further to see if the pump is bad or not.

You still have air in there. Crank it at least 40 - 50 times. Then drive it for a couple of days. It should start to ease up.
