does your steering column not go up and down any more, you hear it tyring but it doesn't move. i found a vid on youtube, was able to fix mine in 10 mins, with a zip-tie. go to youtube, type in ls400 steering column, it's easy

No, amazingly mine still works fine, as it did on my old LS400, but thanks for the tip.. I will keep it in mind for when it does go.

I rarely use it anyway.
