Default Newbie 91 LS400 - Quick Q's

Alright, so I worked on this thing about 2 years ago for a buddy of mine who wouldn't let me do it right. Now I have it and IT'S ON!

Minor front end impact, jacked the core support, I will be ordering the top rail today, so I can remove the old one and weld in the new one (LOTS of experience with this)

Q's:

1) Is there a free downloadable PDF of the service manual or am I gonna buy one from the local parts store?

2) Does anyone have the Tram Specs/Diagrams? I have access to a frame rack but I'll need the specs/diagrams to make sure everything is right before new tires and alignment.

3) Any good MN Local, or other, sources for misc parts?

4) Seems like a bit of lifter tick, both sides, 130,000 Miles, Timing belt looks brand new, nice n clean, sharp, 'teeth' super squared no signs of wear, is all this normal (Tick)?

5) 205/65/15's.... Stock Lexus Wheels, is that right?

6) Rear end was replaced, supposedly with a 4:10.... stock or upgrade?

7) Small 'warning' light on in dash.... Just inside 50MPH/80KMH markers, orange car lit up with 'light' across rear end.... all lights on except one element top right for brake.... What is this for?

Sorry, new to the car and don't have a manual yet so I'm just gettin started

Other than the quick body work/replacement she's crazy straight and runs great. Tons of missing relays/fuses, no ABS, and the Steering Control features and traction control aren't working, but so far I figure it's cause these are missing.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parts needed.......

Body:

Hood, Driverside fender, bumper cover (Preferably maroon to avoid painting)

Plastics for engine:

Driverside plug cover (Front that covers the cam pulley is gone)
Plastic plug wire channels,
part that clips wires up above cam pulley on driverside
channel that holds wires across the engine, across the manifold

Fan and clutch assembly, Fan shroud, and all top bracket/s assembly for top of radiator, nothing therte, it's wired against the top rail of the core support.... don't know where it went.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just put new plugs and wires in. Went with the platinum NGK's so I hope they're decent, seems like a tiny electrode.....

Word up, thanx for any info, sorry for the long hello

Best thing now would be the service manual, if I don't find it downloadable or whatever I'll order it at the parts store. Gotta get crackin on this

rear end will be 3.62:1.

doubt your friend replaced the whole diff, at most he replaced just the internals, which i havent heard of for the 1st gen but is somewhat possible.

Ha. Kinda. I've done frame off resto. 4 years. Not too big a task. I think the biggest part, if even a problem, would be the electrical systems.... they're a far cry from 72 Chevelles and such.

I got it from my buddy for next to nothing. His dad has a shop and he got a new truck so he didn't really care about this thing. His dad did the rear end, so in time I'll find out what's up with it.
