The pictured items are not in Toyota/Lexus packaging. Are they really OEM parts? Who knows?? Ad does state that for new water pump as opposed to reman, add $100. New Lexus water pumps are available for $105 from websites like mylexparts.com, so I don't know how good of a deal you are getting. Plus, it only lists one idler pulley; engine has two.

Hi guys..I couldnt believe it..I got quote from the local stealer for the timing belt kits is $700.17 + tax =763.19 (normal stuffs that they uses for the customers when they do the timing belt service) the tensioner for the drive belt is 274.35 + tax but would have to be special ordered...just the parts...labor not included..:-)))

For many folks here the TB maintenance is a good time to replace not only all of the pulleys & tensioners on the TB assembly but on the Accessory Belt as well.

TB +
Tensioner Part #
Ider Bearing Left Part #
Idler Bearing Right Part#

Accessory/Serpentine Belt
Tensioner Part #
Pulley # 1 Part #
Pulley # 2 Part #

On one of these 2 Serpentine Belt pulleys I replaced the bearing only with a non Toyota part # NTN 63011LL

The part #'s I have are suspect & I do not wish to add to anyones confusion so if anyone can clear up the part #'s for a 1st gen. It would be appreciated!

Last time I went thru it I also got into the alternator:
Note: All #'s below are accurate for 90-94 LS Models.

Alternator Parts
90099-10192 Front Alt. Bearing
90099-10194 Rear Alt. Bearing
27370-75060 Brush & Holder
----------------------------------
Front Cover Gasket
11319-50010
11329-50010
11346-50010
11347-50010 2 Total
11357-50010

90311-A0001 Front Crank Seal
90311-38036 Cam seals ( 2 Total )

94 LS with 206,516

TB +
Tensioner Part # 13540-50030
Idler Bearing #1, left lower (13505-50022) / Koyo part # B7553-KOY-A5300
Idler Bearing #2, right (13503-0F010) has "ear" attachment / NSK part # C7553-NSK-A5300
-----------------------------------
Accessory/Serpentine Belt
V-Rib Tensioner Part #16620-0W035
Pulley w groove Part #16604-0F010 * / Gates #36026
Pulley smooth Part #16603-50010 *

Serpentine Belt pulley #16604-0F010, I replaced the bearing only with a non Toyota part # NTN 63011LL

* Has been noted on the CL Forum that McMaster-Carr bearings #5972K44 & 5972K86 are bearing only alternatives for those with access to a shop press.

Would very much like to double check all the above for accuracy. Please correct any mistake as I will not be offended.
This was for my 94 LS400

Those are OEM parts, but if anyone has a WorldPac account they can get OES parts from there. The water pump is Aisin and so is the fan bracket, while the tensioner is currently made by NTN. The idler bearings are NTN, NSK or Koyo. The belts are made by Mitsuboshi, but Gates is also good - they own Unitta which is a OEM to the Japanese Big 3.

Nice post Nthach!

Idlers & pulleys was the most confusing part of the order for me so that is the portion of a TB change I was trying to clear up.

I will say this though - you can find the smaller bearings for the serpentine drive system at Grainger or other industrial supply houses. You can search the local parts houses for the timing idlers - you're looking for NTN, Koyo, NSK, or ***(its a German bearing brand). Gates, Dayco, and Beck-Arnley are aftermarket suppliers that rebox.
