Duce Inspection Rear trunk/window wings....
So I read a fellow ucf10 member got his rare/expensive wald lip stolen.
I recently got the Duce Inspection Rear window wing and trunk wing.
**DONT ask me If I can get you one**
*I got it by chance luck on ebay australia*
I havent painted and installed yet because Im scared the same thing could happen to my parts. The trunk wing is pretty much like the ebay ones, except it actually fits flush and to the length of the trunk. IF that got stolen I could live...But that rear window visor/wing...my god. I would..
...... ..... ..... ......
and the bastard would be like......
Is there any chemical 3m setup i can do to strengthen the bond of the double sided tape to the window?
Thanks
(I just love finding and exuse to use the Smiles)

To me, when you worry about parking your car...it is gone too far. The owner wants the attention, it comes with positive and negative. That isn't to say you park it in some alley known for high crime and you'll be worry free, but in your daily places. To each your own.

When I worked at the bodyshop, we would use 3M double sided tape and it held on very well. Don't just lay 1 strip and that's it... we would cut and form the tape to all the area coming in contact... sometimes the customer would come back to have some work done, and we would have to take off whatever was taped on, and I would have a very hard time taking it off... that's if properly installed. Use a wax and grease remover, or paint thinner to clean both surfaces very well.... then apply your double sided tape to your part, no open areas, cover everything and install... if someone really wants your spoiler, they are gonna take it regardless. Fastest way is fishing line. We also tried a product called fusor, and structual adhiesive. For many applications. Glued a roof spoiler to the rear window and it didn't hold very long. Didn't adhere to the window, we even sanded the window (at the customers request) and still didn't hold...
