New guy here with 92 LS 400
Just picked up a 92 LS 400. It needs some work but runs and drives good and was cheap. I will post up some pictures when it stops raining.
Just a little about myself I am new to the whole Lexus scene but not cars in general. I race track in my 05' SRT-4 which hopefully next month I can break into the 11's in the 1/4 which is pretty decent for a daily driver I think. I do wish to learn as much as I can about this car though and I actually have a quick question already. The car is lowered on who knows what but it looks about a 2" drop on 20" deep dish wheels. Well the tires are way too small for my liking the tires are 225/30/20 and I would like a little more meat maybe like a 235 or 245 with at least a 35 or hopefully a 40 series tire. Is that possible? I dont want to put on new tires if I have to do many mods to get this to work. If all else fails I will sell the wheels and get 19's or something. I just blew a tire driving home today and now I need to repair one rim because of it. Oh well.
Anyone here in San Diego? I would love to meet up and chill sometime. I am in Eastlake. Later

Welcome to the site! On your question, I wouldn't recommend a 40 series but you could go w/ a wider tire as long as the drop permits it. BTW who did you buy the car off of? Is it a Blue LS?

His name is Javier and it's a black LS. So how wide do you think I can go? I wish there was a local meet going on soon so I can get some tips and stuff.

Totally forgot I said I would update when I could get pictures. It needs some a little work to make it perfect again but it'll get there.
