i'm new here i have a 1992 gray and 1993 white ls 400 don't have pics of the car now but ill be sure to take some tomorrow
i never own a lexus before can anyone help me i have a few questions
wat are some of the major problems this car have ?
how long do they last?

Cars last as long as you take care of them They are not like people. Known problems are steering rack issue, amongst others. If you read this forum or search it, you will find everything that has been covered.

To the OP,checking for problems after buying something is not advisable.Normally you do it prior.
I just got a 94 LS myself and before that I read through countless of post and threads.Most of the problems that popped up were the Tachs,Compressor(aircondition),Power steering pump leaking,starter.....etc.
Go through some of these threads and you will find out more.

here are some pics of my 92 ls it was leaking oil so i had to replace the gasket that's behind the fan

on this car i had to replace the a/c compressor and make my own switch to turn on and off the a/c because my a/c controler doesn't work



i want to keep the car stock but im thinking about putting the new ls460 rims on it


the white 93Ls is not home yet but when is here ill put some pics

the LS460 wheels won't work on your car at all.

Thanks for the pics. How does the ride and quietness of the 740 compare to the LS? My friend has a 5 series so I'm trying to see how the Lexii are haha.

The 740 looks nice but it looks like it's leaking something. Very nice cars indeed.

the 740I personally i think is better than the LS is faster and more space ...
the 740 is leaking anything is just water i took the pics after the rain
