get an H4 hid kit off ebay for $79 shipped. plug and play. wait, actually it' sno tbecuse of the way toyota wires their headlight circuit. someone around here has a diagram. you'll have to cut and splice a couple wires. really easy.
i did it on mine but mine had the 9004 bulb so my experience won' t help you.
i recommend 6000k so it's not to oblue but looks more blue than stock 4300k.

well, i simply took a multimeter and checked for +12v at the bulb plug when the HL switch was turned on. i grounded the ballasts independently at their own grounding point to avoid any ground problems through the factory harness since i knew that toyota used a switching ground circuit.
for the foglights to work properly, you only have to hook up one of the foglight wires to the low beam + circuit. in other words, just the + on either side will work for hte whole foglight circuit and enable both lights. i don't really know why, nor do i care, they work and are still fuse protected so it doesn't matter. they will then work like factory when you turn on the HL switch.

of course this is all assuming you have a single stage H4 hid kit. if you ahve the hi/low kit, i don't know how you would wire that up. then you'd have to get the factory wiring guide and figure out the circuit or else you'll blow fuses every time you hit the high beam switch.

Hit up cliffud, he does have kits AND he knows what's up. I'm planning on doing a full-on projector retrofit in my car if $$$ allows.

All this wishing and voting when you need only ask.
Here's your wiring diagram.

I got a HID "bixenon" kit that comes with large shielding.
Like this.

Hi/Lo is achieved by moving the shield foward and back to expose or block the underside of the bulb.

Great light, love having the high beams and the proper shielding means that there is as little glare as is possible.

Wiring was a sinch as the kit I got wires directly to the battery and plugs into the headlight harness only for switching and HI/LO. No wire cutting at all. Foglights still work just like stock.

Paid $70 for my bulbs (already had the ballasts). Found them on kijiji. 2 year warranty even. I went 5000k cause I didnt want to go ricy or attract 5-O.
