Default 1993 Ls400 Air Suspension

Will the front air suspension shocks on a 1993 LS400 fit the front of a 1991 LS400 with air suspension?

Thanks
Ken

Most likely not.

The best way is to check part numbers on Rockauto.com or similar

Yes they will go straight in , all the air shocks will fit until they went to a single motor drive on the top somewhere around oct 96 and even then the shocks will still physically fit, just no way of hooking up the electrics , I run 95 model UCF21 shocks in my 90 Celsior with absolutely no probs , only thing to watch out for is they changed the inlet from a female to a male type spud , so instead of a male nut it went to a female nut , the brass double "O" ring fitting that goes into the shock is the same , I have a custom nut that I use with a brass olive type joiner , cut the line change the nuts over , join the line back up again...too easy .
Not exactly sure what year they changed the fitting , I think it was when they went to the UCF21 .

ok, i just bought my LS400 last saturday- it has 'air suspension' and it's whacked- on the smoothest pavement the rear end just hops like crazy, it's the most comfortable bounce i've ever ridden ^.^ but it's got to go.

i know jack about this suspension, is it actually bags? i won't get a chance to put her on the life till the 20th- and i *think* i want to keep the lexus suspension over just bypassing it with coil overs- i bought a lexus for a reason, you know?

search please, airsusp is a common topic.

rear airshocks are blown, OEMs are over 1000 each, arnott sells them with lifetime warranties for ~$250/each
