Default Power folding Mirrors for the UCF-21

Hey Everybody! I am looking for power folding mirrors for my 99 LS400. I can find them on Ebay for the UCF11's but not for anything else. Does anybody Know if Toyota/Lexus had that as an option in Japan for the UCF20 an UCF21? And if you have them on your 95-00 Ls400 please post up a Pic.
Thanks Again!!
Chris

They are on all 2000 models standard in Canada.
If you buy the mirrors you need to buy the door ecu's which also control them as well as the main body ecu to control both of them also. It is not cheap to fold them but on a goo note you left side mirror will dip down in reverse as well after.

yeah both my mirrors dip down when i put it in reverse. but only when the mirror control is to the left or right, but not in the middle position. is that how it is supposed to work?

yep.
that's the way it's supposed to be.

if i can get my hands on just the folding mirror assemblies and the switch panel i'm not overly worried about figuring out the door ecus.

On the 98's the passenger side dips.
99-00 both mirrors dip

I'm very sure of this. Also, after getting into an accident in my old 98, they obviously replaced my driver side ECU from a newer model, which tilted the drivers side as well in reverse.

So now we can sum up this thread .
98 models only dip on the passenger side in reverse
99 models dip both sides in reverse
00 models dip and fold the mirrors .

Needs minimum 2 ecu's and mirrors plus switch to dip and fold or with a 98 just buy a 99 or hopefully a 00 drivers door ecu and it will now dip.

I think the folding mirrors will need a new harness as well and not just the ecu's . The mirrors were east to update as it only took the memory to adjust it.
With folding mirrors it is a combination of motor power as well as having the 2 separate resistance circuits that are measured as the mirrors fold and open . The same way the other memory positions are held with a step motor , it is the same for the mirrors. I remember form trying to make my 2 sets of Toyota Windom (ES300) folding mirrors even with the ecu work.

Correct, but sadly, U.S. spec do not fold.

+1 for all Canadian car with HID's folding mirrors and headlight washers and heated seats as standard options.
At least the factory treats us Canucks better than the aftermarket.
