Okay guys so I have just been wondering, I have a 94 LS and my friend has a 97 integra LS. I went into his car and he just has a new headunit and his system sounds like 100x better than mine. I'm looking to put my TC sounds sub in the LS but i'm not sure if the speakers are going to be able to compete. If I just get a new HU will that make them sound better? Its kinda hard for me to believe that the integra has a nicer sound system then my car but who knows. Please let me know!!

The standard Steza in the 1st gens isnt bad, but its not really upto todays standards that for sure. On a Budget Best gains will be had from replacing standard speakers with high quality items and keeping the standard deck, as oposed to trying to power standard speakers with a new deck.

But if I was you Id do what I did and rip out the whole system and put in a aftermarket one.

Wow i'm dumb. My ipod was on some wierd *** settings so I fixed it and it really sounds good for a 94.

So the iPod was Wacked....not the sound system

get some powerful 4 inch aftermarket speakers. that should be the easiest way to upgrade your speakers without any crazy mod.
