Saw this thread over in the SC forum and thought it would be fun here as well, so feel free to ad your comments to it.

You know you drive an LS when...
-People see the big bodied car and keep asking what year your Mercedes is.
-You need a degree as well as a layout map to find out how to replace the
starter.
-The incesant valve tapping of the 1UZ engine is no longer heard by you.
-You don't lose the dashborad needles in the car,, you just lose the entire
dash.
-For the life of you, just cant figure out why anyone would mount a PS
pump over a major electrical component(alternator) on the car; and then
have it leak.
-Mercedes owners are still in awe/anguish/disgust over your 16 year old car
that is still runing in better shape than their 4 year old car.
-When you learn the radio/climate controls and what they read even though
they are blacked out b/c you are too lazy to fix them.

Feel free to add more. LOL!!!

That is the thing I hate about my LS the most. All the other Lexus models I owned, had the steering wheel defeat switch.

So we get the "flagship" car without the switch. Even the 93LS I drove had the switch.

LOL! I thought it was wierd too that it didnt have the switch.
I like it though since my old 91 LS' wheel went out, luckily in my fav position

Well if I had the button, then it wouldn't "go out" since I could stop it permanently.

You guys can bash German cars all you want, my sisters AMG 63 E class wagon, hauls butt, with her 2 kids in the back.
