Default Will 225 40 18"s fit my 99 LS 400 came off of IS 300

Wanted to know if 225 40 18's would fit my 1999 lS 400. These tires and rims came off a IS 300. Please let me know what you think and any possible issues. Thanks in advance.

Big, those wheels will fit without a problem. Actually it is gonna be a little on the small side. I run 235/40/18's on my 92. Could have run bigger, but wasnt in the market at the time.

May want to test fit them first, because I don't know if your calipers will clear the offset from the IS wheels.

The tire sizes will fit yes. The rims, not sure, because the LS has big brakes on the front, and the caliper might not clear the offset of the IS wheels.

Diameter is too small. I'm running 245/40-18 all around on mine. And, I believe that's even slightly shorter than the factory diameter. Original 235/45-18 per tirerack recommendation was too tall and rubbed on the inner fender lining up front.

As others mentioned, not sure on the wheel fitment (i.e. offset).

Well the rims will not fit if they are OEM. You would be better off with a set of LS430 18's or IS350 18's

These are after market rim not sur of the manufacturer with federal tires. The only reason im pressing it is because i need tires bad and I can get these in great condition for under $500. Thanks to everyone, it sounds like i will need to try these on because of the front brake calipers.

factory equivalent spec is actually the same as the LS430 for 18"s, 245/45-18.

but depending on offset you will need to roll the fenders in the front if massively lowered.
