well, i don't think this is an acurate measure of a 93 vs a 95, i think you would have to drive at least 3 93's and 3 95's to make such judgement. It's just ONE car VS another. After 15 and 13yrs, cars can drive and handle difference based on how they have been driven/maintenance. the only thing you can really compare is the features, definitely not the driving. I have a 91 LS and I know it drives very different from the way it was when I first got it. If you have driven it then, and driven it now, you would have different impressions. Yet, in both instances, it drove "fine", however, I have changed control arms to new ones, changed rims, types, brakes, rotors and so forth...

The 1st gen I drove is owned by a shop (many CL members go to), EVERYTHING on that car is new. My 2nd gen (everything on it is new as well), thus I feel it was a pretty good comparo.

good comparison, i pretty much agree with you, having driven many many versions of the LS when i worked at lexus.

after all this talk and debate, i still personally perfer the 1st gen. and i like the first gen because of it being like one of the first lexus ever made
