Default suspension Question '98

I have a 98 LS400 and it has 114m on it. It is starting to ride a little rough, seems like all the bumps are real noticable. Also when I come to a fast stop it seems like the front end dips down a little. I am wondering if I need new shocks or ball joints. Their is no noise. Also are there mcphearsons shocks or are they just regular shock absorbers. Thanks Jim

The LS uses struts. As far as the nose dive, its normal due to the soft nature of the LS shocks, but if you notice it has gotten worse, then new shocks in the front should solve the problem. This should also smooth out your ride.
