Default Does the pioneer changer in 2LS play CD-RW's?

Hi,

Don't know what it has taken me this long, but I recently put a CD-RW (rewriteable) in the Pioneer CD Changer and got a Error Code 21. Is it because the changer doesn't recognize CD-RW's? The changer reads my CD-R's fine. Let me know. Thanks.

Kila,

This is not the problem. They are in WMA format, but I have other CD-R's with WMA formats and they play!!!

impossible, when you burn them, you're prolly burning the CD as an Audio CD.
if you try to drag and drop and burn it as a data CD it will not work. guaranteed.

Doesn't matter what format they are.
These players could only play cd audio (CDDA-74 or 80 mins per disc) on either original or CD-R (one write) discs.

...all I know is that I used verizon vcast manager (for the first time I might add) and it put in the cd-rw for me. Verizon does not offer wav but only wma. I only listen to tracks in "lossless" and just wanted to try a CD-RW. I didn't know that verizon didn't offer wav files.

the initial format wont matter since when you tell most programs to burn you an audio CD they will automatically convert into WAV aka CDA.

most likely the burning software you used didnt close the CDRW (aka finalize the session so no more burning can take place) and the cd changer doesnt like that.

Even a closed cd-rw would not work in a reader that does not support cd-rw.
