Default 93 ls400 question

i just bought a ls400 and the foglights dont work, would you guys mite know what the problem is? allso the radio and the climate control lights go off when i turn on the headlights......

did you even look at the fuses/relays yet....

i checked all the fuses but not the relay

I think I have the same problem, I don't know where the relay is...

BTW, you sure you don't have the illumination **** turned down all the way?

When my previous LS400 (1990) was about 8-10 years old, the foglights started working erratically. If I remember correctly the fix listed on the repair invoice was "cleaned corrosion at fuse block". The repair shop would clean off the corrosion and the foglights would work fine for another year or two before the corrosion had to be cleaned off again. I never asked where the corroded fuse block was located but the current owner told me a while back that it was under the dash and getting so bad that the entire fuse block was going to have to be replaced.

That's very interesting...I'm going to have to look for that while I'm down there.

I should have grabbed a ton of relays from a junkyard when I had the chance...

Anyone have any explanations as to why the relay goes bad on the fog lights? It seems like a common occurrence on 90-94s.
