Default going to look at this one on Saturday

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=11

I talked to the guy on the phone. It almost sounds too good to be true He purchased the car from a retired couple in Florida that were living in a retirement community (who purchased it new). He is a doctor and just drives it from his house to the hospital. He is selling it to buy a truck to tow his boat with.

I asked him about it and said he changes the oil ect.. on his own and uses Mobil 1 syn. He said he has all records of oil changes. Said he has not had the 60,000 mile service performed because it's not there yet. Should i worry about that?

It does not have the crappy nav or air ride

I'm going to go drive it Saturday. I will post back up after i have.

What say ye?

Going to also look at this also http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/689567048.html

double check the VIN, then take it in for a pre-buy inspection at a dealer, they'll check all the panels for VINplates.
it seems properly priced

No doctor changes his own oil, nor do they usually buy used cars, mostly lease new ones.

strange that he does his own oil changes but "has records"? keeping oil receipts from wal-mart maybe?

as PD said, take it to a Lexus dealer and have them do a pre-buy insp. If it comes out clean, take it.

I have 2 friends who are doctors and they do their own car and boat work. They also buy cars, don't lease them, and keep for for a long time and well maintained.
