I have 20s (255s in the rear, 245s up front) and I have MAJOR rubbing in the back (even without passangers), but I have not rolled my fenders. , and occasionally in the front it rubs on dips or bumps in the road...I can only imagine how bad 22s would be. 22s are gonna look HHUUGGEE, too big in my opinion, on a 1Gen.. and I am liberal when it comes to what size rims look good on a 1st generation LS. Most, if not 95%, of the peeps on this site say that 19s are the absolute biggest you should go...I love my 20s though. But 22s? I think they would look TOTALLY out of place.

As far as getting parts for the car, dude check eBay.. huge selection on almost every part imaginable.

I have all Boston Acoustic's all the way around..but they are all the stock size... you can fit bigger though if you want to -- Thanks to LexLS --> http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/fspeaker.html

I do not have subs in my car...I am not planning on keeping it too much longer. It will be for sale soon. I do have a Kicker L7, and two titanium Eclipse subs if you are interested. I am located in Fl too.. what part are you from?

yeah. alota ppl just do it kus 20 or 22 is the number to have. just like when "20's" came out. ive seen ppl focing 20s on their civics. even tho they look like crap and a 17" wheel would look better, they dont care. all they care about is having big "20's" or in todays case, the biggest u can get ur hands on.

but then again...it will always come down to personall preferance. i doubt the 22's will fit even with the lowest series tire possible with fat stretch. and ur car is gonna b pretty freakn high. haha. pretty much a donk.

and idk if they make a lift kit for the LS either. ha. but who knows! i may b wrong. we're all looking to lower the lexus's maybe theres ppl out there who like to raise them to fit bigget wheels.

hahahaha, so forward its hilarious.

And it would look cheesy to put 22" wheels on a car that was designed to have only 15" stock wheels with a perfect fitment of 20" in the wheel well.

Please do not put 22s on your car, youd be raising it up like a freakin impala or caprice.

I had another post too but I deleted it because of its critical nature. I see at least 1 LS400 with overly large wheels each week and it just looks downright stupid. There is a limit and it's not a ferris wheel. It's much, much smaller.
