Default 2nd Gen Leather

Is it replacable? I've been thinking more and more about buying a second gen.. there is this beautiful black on black 2000, but if I bought it, I think I'd want to replace the leather with a leatherseats.com kit..... in burnt orange

I remember reading something about side airbags and that making it difficult to replace the leather..

I have a 94 LS. Took part in Leather Seats Power Buy here at CL.

Paid $450.00 to have mine installed.

you can do it but id install all the leather except the front seats and let a shop do JUST THOSE.

its something about cutting slits in the leather or the like

Cut slits? What are you talking about? For the airbag you mean?

I had to cut holes in the leather kit I have on my 94..

Basically, I want to get a black on black 2nd gen and do something like this:

Though a little less orange, and a little more camel colored..

I want to replace my leather (front and back) with a two-tone color and stitch of some kind.

Here is a picture of a stock LS400 for reference of the colors

I wash thinking of something along the lines of the dark grey tan in the middle section of the seat, tan on the outside, with dark tan stitching. The headrests would be the same way as well.

AND Does Leatherseats.com do that for a 98-00 LS400??

I'd also love to have a two-tone rear, but ive yet to find a supplier for the leather.

I have two tone seats in my first gen, both front and rear seats. I also have double stitching.

I'll post some new pics as soon as it gets a little warmer and I can finish my door panels, clean the interior, etc.
