Default Awww poopy. hood latch help needed ASAP

Okay, so I haven't been on here in months. Let me fill you in... sometime in January, I hit a patch of ice while on summer tires and wrecked the front end of my LS400. Hood, headlights, core support, hood latch, all gone. Only thing that made it out untouched (f-ing irony...) is the bumper.

Anyways, I do not have the money to fix it "properly" so I got a buddy and a tow strap, and chain, and pulled the core support while it was tied to my F250's hitch. Sooo...

Anyways, in the process, the hood latch completely snapped. Now comes the time to get it out of there, and I can't figure it out for the life of me. Everything around it is all bent up, and even then, it's horrible engineering on Toyota's part.

I kinda wiggled it arond the driver's side fan, and yanked it, and ended up further breaking the platic fan grille, and fraying the horn wire, that for some stupid reason runs through the hood latch?

So what do I do now? Only other thing I can think of is either remove both of those fans, or remove the f-ing AC condenser and radiator. Neither of which I'm doing in this cold michigan weather...

Argh... nothing ever goes right. Soooo suicidal right now.

Not at liberty to discuss. Had to pay a lot of $$$, but I'm in the clear now.

Luckily, no felonies though, only multiple misdemeanors/civil infractions.

PM Sent!

Just curious... I know it's going to be way out of my price range, but how much would an average collision shop charge to completely replace my core support?

Back to square one... the collision repair manual was no help, since they don't take into account there are fans and an AC condenser in my way.

EDIT- Nevermind. I dug up my factory manuals, and it says to remove the fan itself. So I guess that's what I'm going to do.

Ahhh.. I'm back to the point where I'm so pissed, I'm about ready to start breaking things and screaming. Not even kidding.

I am trying to get the fan off now, and can't reach the bolt at the bottom driver's side of the driver's side fan. Who the hell puts a thick line right in front of it?

Seriously, I hate Toyota. This is BS.

In Daytona Beach, FL we have a U-Pull-It, its like a salvage yard where you pull your own parts off cars. Back when I had my other 1990 5.0 mustang, if I ever had a question on how to remove a part, or get to a part in the dash, for example, I'd practice on a similar (there are obviously a plethora of fox bodys at these salvage yards) car, so if I broke something in the process, I wouldn't be breaking it on my car! If you find a similiar LS400 in a salvage yard, you could try that!

2008 blows for me too... unfortunately, a felony is involved....something I am totally not proud of. It, too, has pretty much been taken care off.

Good luck with your car bro!
