Hi Guys

Weird problem and need advice for gen 1 LS problem. Here are the details:

*Had aircon pumping today and was car moving;
*car stalled while moving with instrument lights coming on;
*restarted car, put in drive and free revved without feeling any "drive"engaging;
*within a few seconds, 'drive" engaged as though there was a lag between selection and engagement; and
*has on one occasion lunged forward when in D even with brake pedal depressed to floor.

I have been told by techo that my EGR pipe may be cracked and that I have a small power steering rack leak.

Have recently had problems with PRNDL12 lights on dash not coming on until car is warm. Toyota technician says need to replace neutral safety switch (and possibly fuel pump) as computer not sure what gear is engaged.

Car has 230,000 kms and is always serviced.
