Default Back into an ls

Well, saturday I drove to austin and picked me up a 99 ls400. After the other one got totaled, I had to have another one. Good deal on a great car. Pearl white two tone grey. Now I just need to upgrade the wheels and radio. Any suggestions?

Great -- Glad you are back in the family. Pics please

Miles? Condition?

Wheels others can chime in there.. whats your style?

Radio -- Go with alpine, anything alpine. Doubledin looks the best to fill the slot, even 1.5 din with kit. On my first gen I went with single din with face plate kit with a pocket, looks good with the pocket that I can store stuff in. Without the pocket there is a little too much of the plastic that Metra says 'fits factory look' but it really doesn't

Alpine, imho, has the best Sound processing, so just go by what unit fits your needs and looks the best.

I like 3 piece low offset staggered 19's versus 20's but I am a little older I have staggered 18's and would have been happier with the 19's. Glad you got another one - soundl like a beauty bro

Hey... I got myself a nice JVC headunit recently, it has built in HD radio, so the FM reception is CD quality, and also it has an AUX rear input for i-pod or any other portable player.

For all your car audio i recommend crutchfield.com

I use JVC KD-HDR1 for a long time. It is a very good head unit.

Let's see some pics!! I'm not a fan of staggered since you can't rotate them...but that's probably cause I couldn't afford to go throuh tires that fast! lol.

I loooooooooove Fabulous Profound, or Fabulous Expand

to be clear, that is impossible unless you have some poor quality CDs

its a physics/electronics thing...

For the radio, I am thinking of going with this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...029814892&rd=1
I had one similar in my 92 ls and just made a couple of supports that were lookalike wood to fill in the gaps. Or I am thinking of this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/686-C...9939QQtcZphoto
Or this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/878-C...2752QQtcZphoto
This company does sell a pretty good quality radio and I never had any problems with it. Any opinions or mounting suggestions?

Default heres some pics

Here are a couple of pics. I am thinking for my wheels....20x8.5 front and 20x10.5 rear. Either black and chrome or a silver. What would be better, 19" or 20" wheels?

If price is of no consequence, 20". There isn't alot of difference in the two however. Just keep in mind offset, and lowering is key for the 'right' look.

I am thinking of these.

Is an offset of 44 too much?
Or even these...
