How to pull codes on a 96
Edit: Code P0110 IAT Circuit Malfunction. Where is the IAT located on this car?
without a codereader? Is that possible? I know some cars have a trick sequence to get the light to flash the code.
Also is there a list of codes somewhere. I searched but maybe I missed it.
It came on after I gave my motor a little spray with atf when I was flushing my power steering. ****ing hose slipped out of the bottle. Engine and garage are covered in oil now. Looks like blood splatter on the wall lmao.

OK I decided to stop being cheap and bought a scanner. Got a code P0110 IAT Circuit Malfunction...
Any ideas? Where is the IAT located on this car?
Edit: I went ahead and cleared the code. We'll see if it comes back. I had the MAF disconnected ealier so it may have had something to do with that.

Some auto parts places also let you pull codes with their reader. I've done that at AutoZone before. All they're really trying to do is to get you to buy parts from them, so it's kinda like an "advertisement". If'n you plan on owning a car newer than '96 though, might as well buy one if you prefer to work on your own car. I've got one on the way from Amazon so I don't have to waste my time driving to AutoZone again and again.
