I didn't make it down to Cali yet bought a new place and had to move when I was planning on coming out for a visit. I'll have to plan a trip next year for sure!

Here's my 1990 Celsior I bought two days ago for $1200. Car's in about 6/10 condition overall, is throwing a TRC #13 code, the air suspension is playing silly buggers not wanting to level out properly, the air con needs a regas which is happening tomorrow and it's got the typical dead climate control LCD. Having bought it Christmas Eve and then having family stuff the last couple of days, tomorrow is my first day of actually playing with it.
To be honest I bought it purely because it was cheap, and I've got a 1UZ in my 4Runner so I figured if worse came to worse I'd pull the motor, wreck out the rest of it and end up with a cheap or even free spare motor. But it's too good to pull apart so it'll become the weekend car. Came with a set of rashed up 18s with okay rubber, terrible old aftermarket stereo and a height controller.
So I've done a fair bit of searching but haven't come up with any definite answer to the suspension problem. P.O. reckons the height levelling issue started after it was put up on a two-post hoist without turning the air suspension off. He reckons he had a play with the height adjusters, tomorrow I'm going to pull them out, give em a clean and see how it goes. Anyone got any solid info on exactly what happens if you don't turn the suspension off before jacking it up?

Car looks pretty good for a '90. Don't have any specific advice to give other than to get rid of your air sus if you can. It's more trouble than it's worth, esp. since your bags are 23 years old...not much life left in them I would say. I removed mine from my '98 in favor of coilovers and couldn't be happier. Prior to that, I didn't have any issues putting the car on a lift. Good luck.
