this is my homie johnny from royal flush. he's on bags but drives his car aired down like it's static.
generally speaking, bags known to be bouncy in general and driving on highways, the car tends to sway alot. that's from what bagged peeps are tellin me.

On air.
The way I see it. Three levels.
1. Air'd up to clear the road, looks donked.
2. Mid level tucking tire with some bounce.
3. Bottom air out enough to tuck tire, bouncy as hell dangerous driving.
Static..
Slammed. Shock in optimal range. Spring rate does not change.
Option to add air cups to clear the road obstacles.
Proper way to air i guess would use a coilover body. Air seems more expensive than static with cupkit.
maybe we should create a different thread about this subject.

since i am on bags on coils, i'll chime in. of course i still don't have my wheels on yet so we'll see the stance and rolling height soon. what i can tell you now is that i can run low!
from what UAS told me, as the psi on the bags run low, the spring rate INCREASES. yeah that surprised me too! he told me the spring rate on the air bag is NOT linear. it's more exponential. of course the spring rate is not as high as conventional springs. i can tell you that running at 90psi (where max is 110 recommended), it sure feels like a coilover spring in there (stiff)!

1" adapters from adaptitusa.
Thanks!

I think they're great "training wheels." They've really given me a better understanding of what is possible to fit under the car and having less than a grand invested in the whole setup is nice too. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade sometime this year but I'm not gonna sweat it, I love the simplistic look of the setup.

Are you on coilovers or air?

hahaha, "training wheels". That's a good way to put it. Those are training wheels I could live with for awhile myself. How much fender work had to be done to get them to fit? I'm trying to decide is I want to go 19x9 all around. Or 19x10 all around. Don't want to do the staggered setup.
