I did a quick search to see if this was already posted but I didn't see it.

Interesting to see that the 97 has a different rear bumper results than the 98.

not really, the front and rear ends were totally redesigned for 98.

iirc the rear bumper and sub assy. has a totally different part no. from 95-97 models.

there are several thread 0ont he IIHS results and even a video on youtube somewhere.

Im glad i didnt buy the 97 I was looking at. Damn, as many times as my car has been hit on campus...the 97 would have been toast.
