Default Plans for Spring road trip

I havent been drivng my car for a month now, and I got another 2 month till I get my driving rights back, I wount go into details.
Car has been sitting inside the garage for a while now. I start it up twice a week and take it for a drive once a week with a friend.
I polished the paint, cleaned the interior, rewired the system in the trunk, no more wires anywhere, nice clean look. Basically I cannt wait to hit the road.

In late May I want to drive up to Canada, do some exploring, lodging and just enjoy fresh air, good food and miles of road.

1) This is what my route looks like.
I am starting in NYC, going to Montreal for a day, maybe 2
from there I will head up to Quebec for a night, and from there I wanted to go up to Riviere de Loup and from there take 185 and head down to Maine. From main back to NY passing Boston and staying there for a day.
1300 miles in total, not that bad at all.

For Canadian folks, is it worth taking the road past Riviere via rt 132 all the way around the coast? Its extra 500+ miles near the ocean, but I am not sure if its a scenic drive or not.

2) Now as far as the car goes. I got under 105k miles on the car, new timing belt, tensioner, v belt, and water pump. Car needs nothing, except motor mounts, which I will do, and maybe lower control arms, but they are not that bad, so I dont know about them. I also have a new battery.
Should I worry about anything? I trust the car fully and have no doubt it will make the trip. Iknow cars well so I can fix things if needed.
Things I worry about is, tranny, alternator and starter. None of them show any signs of trouble. But I never flushed the tranny oil, since I didnt know the history of the car and I didnt want to flush away old oil, in fear of killing the tranny with new oil.

1300 miles should cost about $250 in gas, with 20 MPG, which is the lowest. so maybe even less $$. 20 gallon tank right?

Any input? on the car, or Canadian roads, like places to visit, must see, which roads are better. I am looking for pretty roads with greqat views, turns and hills.

Thanks
