how much is my car worth?
well, there comes a time in a young man's life, where he gets bored of his LS400, and wishes for something different. that time is now.
here's the lowdown:
90 LS400
129k
MINT leather
HID's
LS430 wheels
all new:
drilled and slotted rotors
ceramic/kevlar pads
here's a couple pictures:
so tell me.
how much is it worth, fellas?

I can tell you that I bought my LS400 1990 for 3,700 with a bad power steering pump and the same mileage as yours. It really depends where you live and how high the demand for the LS is. Don't expect too much more due to your HIDs and Wheels, because some people won't care. I've seen some mint condition ones of the same year around DC going for over $4,300, and one for nearly $6,000 last week. I don't know much about WA though. I would say $4,300 max average.
Why are you selling it? Bored of it? sheesh....j/k

yup, it has air, naka, heated seats, all still works WUNNNDERFUL.
it's not black, but it is grey leather that has no rips, whatsoever.
also has brand spankin new lexus floor mats, from toyota. OEM goodness.
give me a good enough price for the wheels, and i'll give you the whole car, too. i don't have any extra 5 lug wheels to put on it, if i was to sell.

I personally think $5K would be a good asking price. I've seen many 90 LS400 with the same mileage as yours but poor condition sell at used car dealerships for $2500 or less. Yours is in much better shape, but it is still a 1990. At least in my area you'd be hard pressed to get $6K for it since you can get 95's for $7K. You can try your $5,500 asking price and see how the public reacts. If you get calls and no takers you know you are listed too high. Put OBO as well so if you get a lot of calls and a lot of potential takers you can bump the price up a bit. The market in your area will tell you if your car is over priced as nobody will want to buy it.

Yeah, I agree with CK6Speed, if you're going to sell it privately, it's going to be a process.
Best to start high and work your way down, rather than undercut yourself and regret it later. I would start at $6k, which gives you some room to negotiate.
