wheel fitment on 1gen ls400? 18x9.5 +35mm
I might pick up a set of stern wheels in a 18x9.5 +35mm all around. I'm pretty sure that the rear would fit, but Not sure on the offset of the front since it is pretty wide. anybody know if the front would fit with that size?? Thinking of running 235/40 in the front and 255/40 in the rear with a fender roll all around on tanabe and tokico suspension. Thanks

Also, what tire size do you recomend for 18x7.5+8 front 18x8.5+15 rear? i kind of want the stretched look but dont want the tires to be too thin...does 215/40 in front and 225/40 in the rear sound ok?

probably go with another setup to be sure it won't rub. going to run 17x8.5 32mm and 17x9.5 38 with 275/45 in rear and 245/45 in front, with rolled fenders all around.
should I go the tanabe and tokico setup, or kyb and h&r? heard mixed reviews about the tokico hp's.

17s? they gonna look small on the LS. should run the 18's and maybe a 30/35 series tire. depends on the roads there in Cali, if they paved nice then go for tanabe springs and kyb setup. tokico tends to not last long and kyb has the oem comfort but stiffer than oem. if Cali has crap roads like NY then go with H&R + KYB.

what do you mean by taller tires? instead of jesse running 255/40 in the rear he should go 255/45?

cali roads is no where near F'd up than NY...Cali roads are sorta like FL roads with a few messed up highways here n there...Vegas roads are more like NY roads

I picked up some Volks CV Pro 17x8.5 +33 front and 17x9.5 +38 in rear and looks pretty flush in the rear which I still need to roll the rear. Looks flush in the front but not enough. Let me snap some pics and post it!!
