OK guys, I bought a 1995 LS400 off Ebay and found out later that the cruse control does not work. I did not find much info in the forum search. I hate to just throw parts at it but I'm not sure where to begin.

Does the light come on when you turn on the cruise control system? We need more details.

No, the cruse control light does not come on.

96 Ls400, cruise control stopped functioning, but dash light comes on and off as always. Basically it doesn't Set a speed as it should from what I can tell. Bad switch??

Was working great until I changed out my front brake pads and changed out the hood lifters.

Any help would be great

Sounds like the wheel speed sensor was not properly installed or damaged when your front brake pads were changed. You'd better check the sensor. Partially damaged sensor often needs to observe the waveform or the generated voltage when you confirm it.

me personally I would not buy a car without cruise control , please guys fix this issue immediate.

Isn't the speed sensor for the cc the one on the transmission?
