not sure it is the remote battery problem or something else? can someone help?
if it is the problem on battery of the remote, could you please teach me how to replace the battery, and where i can get the new battery?

one more thing, i do the the red light on when i press the button on "lock", "unlock" or "trunk"....

If you can see the light, it means there is another problem with your remote. Have you had any success getting it to operate at a shorter interval? Has this problem recently occured?

yes, it just happened recently. i did try again next day. it was working just 2 or 3 times. after that it never worked.... i'm not sure if the inside of the key not being clean is the cause of the problem or not.

after i took out the little bolt on the cap, but it wasn't easy to open. i didn't want to force it open, since i'm worried that the cap might break. are there any other places i need to be careful when i open the cap on the key?

The problem could be a number of things. Notice any difference of patterns where the key worked? meaning in relation to your location and the car's.

When trying to open the cover, i suggest trying from the sides, and not the "U" where it hangs on your keychain. Try and replace the battery, and if that does not work, it might be easier and cheaper to just buy a used one from eBay as opposed to trying to fix this one.

I guess it's safe to assume you only have one key? Having a second one would help determine if it's the key or the car itself.....
