good tip in advance is to search first but since ur new, ill cut u some slack.

im currently running KYB shocks with H&R sport springs which drop 1inch all around...there are also tanabe DF210 springs that will drop the car 2-2 1/2 inch all around. there are also JIC-Magic FLT-A2 coilovers that will give u as much flexibility for raising or lowering your car but they cost a pretty penny....if u have air suspension u can also just get a air control module.

well first,,how low do you want to go?? Are you going to run rims?? and if so how big??? These are all questions you need to consider.

Having a first gen LS, unfortunately, you will not have many options. They are as follows.

1. Cheapest/most common- lowering springs (H&R,Eibach, Tanabe) with new shocks. average $60-800

2. More expensive - coilovers. Gona be hard to find for our first gens and are very pricey. JIC and 1 other brand are the only ones I can think of.
average- $1400-1800

3. Very expensive - UAS (Universal Air Suspension). aftermarket product which will get you as low as you want to go. Very expensive if you are not a DIY'er. average- $2000 (unless you fab a setup yourself)

oh and welcome to the club. Look under the search and advanced search feature here to find alot of answers to possible questions using key words. Trust me,, searching really is a valuable source. Then if you cant find the info,, toss it out there in open forum.

Rear: go and buy several hundred pounds of freeweights and put them in the trunk, this should lower the car by 1-2inches, if more of a drop is desired, simply add more weights (up to 800lbs) and enjoy

Front: strap 2-3 dead* animals (cows, horses, etc-same size) to your hood and enjoy, same amount of drop as front, add or decrease animals to achieve desired look.

*Live animals may be used but maintainance will be much more difficult.

I usually just have my Aunt Mildred sit in the back seat and that usually does the job.

P.S. I don't really have an Aunt Mildred but if I did........

Are you drunk?

Personally, I'd tie down a whale to the top of the roof to achieve an equal balance of drop...and it would drop you as far as airbags!

how low do you need to go? what look are you after? a modest drop won't eat your tires if you get an alignment afterwards.
