Default About to buy the Wald executive kit

Hi all

I am about to buy the wald executive kit for my 1998 LS400.

This is how it looks now

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/6...fb20b4dze1.jpg

Firstly I was after the l-sportline kit but can not find it anywhere so am about to pay 1590 from carsons for the exec kit. Can anyone advise me of a better price for this?

Also what do u guys think of this kit?

Thirdly would this kit look better with the 20s shown above or the 18 inch wheels posted below.

I have tein cs coilovers so lowering isnt a problem but im not sure what would look better with this lip kit

Thanks for ur time all and would love all ur opinions

IMO I think your LS will look better with the 20's especially with the KIT. If you want to improve your ride quality then go with the 18's.

I like your 20's better. Plus if you lower you car on 18's with that kit, you'll probably scrape it on the ground alot.

The volks will not look right with a Wald kit or on an ls as they are too "sporty" in look.
If you are in Australia you should Be able to get it there much cheaper by importing direct form JP.

Just so everyone is aware how things work in Australia. Only 160 LSs have been sold every year since 1996 on average which means no parts, no goodies, no stock ls430 oem 18s, the is350s dont even come with 18s i dont think. The only good thing we have is we can get wild done up cars straight from japan but post 89 celsiors are not allowed in.

LOL,,,just a little FYI,,, your car is a 98 which DOES make it a POST 89 Celsior. Just messing with ya. Man, that is really strict there. No parts, etc.. ok let me know when your flightis and we will make arrangements to get your car out as well. The WALD kit is always a winner, especially on the 98,,think you had another post about wheels as well and I liked them but did not know you were planning a WALD kit as well. I agree that the Volks are gonna be too sporty for the kit. Keep the 20's if you gonna do the WALD kit.

I would contact a local importer of cars to see what they can do for briniing it in. Also their is a car magazine in australia which i get just for japanese imports and they list tons of importers of kits.

So if I were to win a bid at a japanese auction, could I pay with my debit card in american dollars?

That auction site has some pretty cool stuff.
