I think mine finally went. I know what I'm going to be doing over the next couple of days...

...it was taking 2-3 cranks to start, and decided to go towards the light at the end of that tunnel.

I have 170K.

Odd. My starter takes 2 cranks or so. I somehow thought that was normal in freezing weather.

Well, I thought so as well...but single click of death just happened. I checked the terminals and battery and everything. I'm going to have the battery tested again tomorrow.

My 1990 LS400 had 252K when I sold it... starter was original and still worked fine. My current 1991 LS400 has 208K and as far as I know, its original as well. I hope it lasts much longer.

I have around 282,000 or so mine is dead. I was getting signs before so I knew it was coming. I am actually in the process of replacing it, I just got it out yesterday. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=324890
