Default Those that have to drive on snow and ice.

How often does your traction control come on when you drive on slippery surfaces? Last night mine went off everytime I took off from a dead stop. I do have brand new Falken all seasons on and get around really good other than the takeoffs.

How many of you have floored your gas pedal on snow? Its amazing, the car wont even spin out with TC on! This is the first car that I have ever had TC and Im lovin it.

I have TC but always keep it off. It's more fun that way.

Also, crappy tires also help test my driving skills. I've done some crazy stuff already in the past few weeks on icy and dry pavement, and have yet to spin out in this car.

My traction control seems to kick in more in rain than in snow. It's probably because I'm extra careful driving in snow just out of habit.

you can't spin out with the TC on because it keeps the rear tires from spinning! hint: if you get stuck, turn the tc off, so that your tires can spin and maybe get you out.

you dont have to SPIN the tires to spin the car

remember, ABS is normally confused by snow, when i go up to the mountains half the cars i see sliding around are doing it while braking+turning.

I never spin tires unless starting off on a steep hill or flooring it. I dont plan on having my LS out too much in the salt after it is painted. Hurray for my Sisters Mazda 6

The car sucks in snow/ice with 200lbs of weight in the trunk, snow tires, and traction control.

I'm getting an LX 470 before next winter =p

The way I drive, my TRAC rarely kicks in. You should never depend on the TRAC to save your butt from trouble, it should be the last resort. You should always drive in such way that you're always in control.

I've driven the LS in some heavy snow, and with Bridgestone Blizzak's its a tank.. without those snow tires however, it is a death trap.

I've got all season Michelins on my LS, and let me tell you, it deals with snow without much drama. But then again, thats compared to my GS430 with summer tires
