Default Chillin in my car

i know this is a weird/stupid question. but how long will my battery last if i were to keep the a/c and radio on without the engine being started. im saying this because last time i was at a party i ended up sleeping on a wood floor (don't drink and drive) and i just realized i could of slept in my car. but i remember someone telling me you can die because the air gets poisonus when you exhale in a confined place. so thats why i would keep the a/c running.

if you want to sleep in your car, tilt your sunroof open and crack a couple windows... I do it all the time when i pull all nighters at my school. Just remember to bring a blanket!

Yeah, just crack the windows and you'll be fine. I did it with another person in my car all night while I was in Ohio on one of the hottest nights of the summer.

Don't run the A/C or heat without the engine being on, or your battery will probably die fast. Radio shouldn't be a problem for a few hours while you sleep.

Wow, that must have been some girl, for you to be able to do it all night in the car... lol jk man. I know what you mean

I wouldnt leave anything on if I were sleeping in the car just because the battery is rediculously priced if it dies.

Be careful where you sleep overnight. Lots of police routinely patrol neighborhoods, and you may be violating some obscure Civil Code or City Ordinance.

Sleeping in the car off is not a problem, crack the sunrof a bit and get a blanket.
Sleeping in the car ON, might be dangerous, carbon minoxide will kill you. Its actually the best way to off yourself if you ever plan to.

Plus you dont know what kind of crack head is running around trying to rub you while you in a car. So depends on neighborhood.

Either rubbing OR robbing...probably not a pleasant experience.

Many states have the same law--you can get a DUI for even sitting drunk in your car if you have easy access to the keys.

uhh

the ac works because the compressor is turning

engine off = compressor not turning

and you can get a dui if you sleep in a car with the keys in the ignition, even if the ignition is off.

if it happens again you should crack the roof, lock the doors, and toss the keys in the front seat glove box

remember not to try to unlock the doors from the inside unless you want a rude awakening

IF thats true then it would be DWI, not DUI.

I love doing that. I've wanted a roll up one that pulls down from one side of the glass. or curtains that are hidden inside of the pillars. It'd be nice if you could set the suspension to lock up so that there is no movement from what people do inside the car.
