towing with my '91 LS400?
Hi, All.
I'd like the opinions of the users on this forum. I'm consdiering adding a receiver tow hitch to my '91 LS400 which is equipped with air suspension.
I'd be towing a trailer weighing about 1,000 lbs. with a tongue weight of about 100 lbs. about once a month (I go shifterkart racing).
The local Lexus dealer advised against any type of towing claiming that I'd subject the air suspension to undue wear & tear; plus, in the opinion of the person I spoke with, it would be unbecoming of a LS400 as a tow vehicle.
What do you people think?
