95 ls400 alternator??

95 ls400 alternator??
My 400 died yesterday easily starts with jumper cables. Took battery out it checked out fine at parts store. Cables all clean and tight. Turn key and its like it doesnt have enough umph to start? Could the battery be bad and the machine defective at parts store or voltage regulator gone bad, alternator???

could be a bad cell in the battery with uneducated staff on how to test a battery by charging it for 30 minutes before load testing it.

I broke down and took my car to Davenport in Plano Tx. Yup a battery Isuue and a bad post connector. Who woulda thunk?? Thanks Everyone

Ive noticed that I use good battries and they seem to go out about 3 years I run all day on the freeways here in ca putting around 3,000 miles a month on the 91 lexus and the battries just seem to go out I have tried different types and do the same thing. the alternator is fine ALSO REMEMBER TO CHECH YOUR POWER STEERING PUMP AROUNT THE BOTTOM IF IS DRIPPING POWER STEERING FLUID GET IT FIXED NOW. OR YOUR WILL WIPE OUT THE ALTERNATOR PRONTO. BIG BUCKS TO FIX
