HAHA this guy is stupid, he deserves to bend those rims at the 1 minute mark. I must admit, I enjoyed this video... mainly because I NEVER flog my LS this hard, but it is fun to see what it COULD do

Just not worth it in my mind...over here in So Cal, you can get a ticket or impound (at officers discretion)...this qualifies under exhibition of speed and reckless driving, endangering public and everything...

...for god sakes, track only please.

He seems stupid... only because he can't control the car (note- hits a curb, drives recklessly), and not because he beats on it.

I drive my LS (with 186k on it) like I stole it. I am not afraid to completely throw the *** end out on a "drift" or whatever... in fact I got the car sideways around a bank parking lot today just because I was bored and pissed off at construction in the area. I try not to be too hard on the braking or acceleration normally, but I find I usually floor it at least once or twice a day.

That been said, our cars are solid, I don't think anything is going to go wrong. It's a very well-built motor and the car has held up no problem to whatever I do with it.

I <3 My Lexus.

O/T: I love the euro taillights though... gives it a very BMW-esque look to it. The gauges were somewhat different too.

Flooring your ls400 around all over the place is hardly a demonstration of what it can do.

I understand the car is not designed for track use, but pulling that kind of stunt in an area with pedestrians (let alone other cars)? Too many variables on what could go wrong, especially with his driving skills...

Will someone explain the reason for this exercise in stupidity?

That really was lame. Nothing impressive at all. The speed he was traveling, he donuts he was doing in the dirt, the little chirps. Pretty much any RWD even FWD with the handbrake can do that.
