LED tails for gen 1 LS400
Anyone got any ideas on how we can persuade an aftermarket tail lamp manufacturer to produce some nice gen 1 LS tail lamps?
I am really getting tired of the red/clear ones!

make your own! If i had more time and expertise i would. I think the easiest thing you could do is drop some dual intensity oval Truck LED's and splice the wires. I would do it but i have no money.
I would drop these in. 6 would look awesome.

Also if you have some knowledge you could make your own with LED's, resistors, and breadboards. Check out planet HID forums for more info.

Yeah, fastest way is to try to convince a company to make it is to let them know that there is a large number of owners willing to buy them. Harder and more difficult way , my current route, is to try to make them yourself. This is a little project I have been playing with, but haven't had much time to work on.
Omar, this is funny that you post this b/c this is the exact way that I am working on mine. I went the breadboard route, however my electronic knowledge is not too intense and I kept blowing them. You, in particular, dont need to get them from EBAY. You can just go to that T/A truck stop over in Commerce, where I met you awhile ago, and just pick up a set. Price is still around the same for the light, but no shiping. LOL!!!
