Default battery disconnect, elec. ?

I just disconnected my battery to replace my steering wheel. The install was easy however when I reconnected the battery cables electricals started acting weird.

I drove the car around for 30 minutes and each time I depress the brake the radio glitches off then on. I also notice that each time the brake pedal is pressed the 'D' gear light on the dash blinks once. Also radio glitch when 2 windows are rolling up at the same time.

I hit the headlights on while driving, which almost made the car lose power totally, I just shut it off. Once I got home I parked it and then tried to start it and no crank.

I rechecked the cables and the only thing I could think of is I tightened the cables too tight. Any suggestions?

Default

You did not connect the negative terminal correctly. Re-tighten, and clean up the terminals if needed...

Happend to me before... it does feel creepy though.
