Default Purchased 1995 LS400 blue w/tan (pictures)

Saying hello from Indianapolis, Indiana. I recently purchased a dark blue '95 LS400 w/ivory leather. As you can see from the initial pictures she was quite dirty. The original owner performed all the required service, but didn't do that great of a job keeping her clean. It has 58k original miles on the clock.

The night I purchase the car.

Well maintained, but very dirty.

I've spent a couple of days performing usual service: Oil, transmission, cleaning, etc. She is cleaning up quite nicely.

Very best,

Dustin

Nice clean up job! Would you like to do mine nest?

In all seriousness, it's a real beauty!

Thanks! I will say, I am very impressed with Lexus paint. The paint on my GTO and Z28 is terrible. For a 12 year old car, this thing has some thick paint.

Nice looking car with low miles! I'm from Naptown originally. I spent half my life there and other half here on the east coast. I usually get back there once or twice a year and it's amazing how much the city has grown.

If this is your first LS, you'll be quite satisified. I don't plan on driving any other type of car.

Great job cleaning it. What did you use on the exterior?

I went with a clay bar first. Then Meguires Cleaner Wax followed by Meguires Reflections. I put the Cleaner wax on with an orbital buffer and removed by hand.

Sounds like you know what you're doing. I need to get into the whole waxing thing.

Anyway, congrats on the car. I see you have air suspension... condition?

The air suspension seems to be working correctly. The original owner had new shocks/components installed at 48k miles. To be honest, it is the only thing that scares me a little.

What a rare piece. I love it when people appreciate their rides and keep them up.
