Just got my car this past thursday....99 LS 400....57,000 miles....1 owner...black with tan interior.....i'm truly in heaven.

I've read through quite a few of the threads but i thought i would pose the question again.

anyone have any luck getting their ipod to work in their car?

i'm talking a direct hookup, not anything wireless....

i have the navigation system and there really doesn't seem to be any solution (that i could find anyway) as to what to do......i called one or two stereo installation companies in my area and they say there's nothing (yet) that is available......

yeah, sorry dude....i belong to other forums and you'd think i would know better by now......wasn't sure how to PM and i saw you listed your myspace page...so....

anway, i can't believe there isn't a friggin plug and play solution for my car....it's insane. i'm gonna try to figure out your hookup if i can...not very good with this kinda thing.....but i really miss having my ipod in the car....and i can't deal with those wireless things....they sound like crap....

puredrifter........i went thru the entire thread you told me to read but i was unable to find the final step where you add the switch and hook it up to a ground and a 12v constant.

can you help me out with this??

I use my iphone no problem. Get a cassete audio input and your good to go. With the volume up sounds awesome. Probably not good as digital, but pretty darn close for my ears. I use for my iphone and Sirius Sat radio.

I picked mine up at radio shack for 3.49 on sale.
